Elizabeth Smart / Squeaky Wheel Tour Kickoff at West L.A. Music
ABC News contributor and kidnap survivor Elizabeth Smart was at West L.A. Music Monday night with her father Ed in support of The Squeaky Wheel Tour kickoff concert. The Squeaky Wheel Tour is an acoustic concert series that helps bring awareness to missing people all over the world.
Monday’s event, hosted at West L.A. Music, marked The Squeaky Wheel’s 6th consecutive year in motion. The tour began in honor of Gina Bos that disappeared after playing a show in Lincoln, NE on October 17th 2000.
The Squeaky Wheel Tour has helped bring attention to thousands of missing people throughout the years. Founder Janelle Rap (Gina's sister), believes that the grassroots efforts of The Squeaky Wheel Tour has played a part in the discovery of more than 1,000 missing people.
